The rest of the book is just a series of contrived Dr. Seuss rhymes on the same subject - too mature for kids, and too juvenile for adults. I bought this book to have a laugh with my wife. Who knew through, the power of suggestion, that I would get lucky that very same night after reading the book with her? Having a little kid is great, but having a little sex is even better. Great story and even better illustrations. We had many giggles throughout the book. I would recommend this to any parents that would like to reconnect with their long gone "dating phase".
I had no idea, this was so funny. Don't read to your kid, or his stuffed bunny. This book was fun, this book was great. Now I'm off with the wife, to play Hide-the-grape.
Kind of funny and silly, like a kid's book about the reality of parents just needing (but never getting) a bit of alone time. Some of the thymes are a bit of a reach, which is what makes it funny.
Laugh-out-loud funny! Its original and clever. If you and your other half ever had little kids, you can probably identify. The adroit writing style and entertaining illustrations remind me of Dr. Seuss-- but definitely for adults.
This really made me laugh...a hilarious adult bedtime story or a cautionary tale for couples on the verge of parenthood. 😂
It was fun to read but wasn't as funny as I thought it would be. Definitely felt like a childrens book but for asults only.
My "married with children" pals got a kick out of it, but I think they liked Go The F^%$ To Sleep more.
